Route 38 to O'Dell Road
West to East
Distance 10.7 MilesThis section of the Finger Lakes Trail (FLT) starts at Purvis Road on NY Route 38, 3.6 miles south of junction with NY Route 392 in Dryden. It ends on O'Dell Road (also called Courtney Road and Cortwright Road) 0.7 mile south of the junction of O'Dell Road and Van Donsel Road (Stillman Road), about 2 miles southeast of Virgil. The Dryden Section of the FLT ends across Route 38 and 170 feet to the north. Intermediate access points are on East Lake Road, 0.1 mile east or 0.8 mile north of junction with Purvis Road; Daisy Hollow Road at the junction with Carpenter Hill Road; and Babcock Hollow Road 0.8 mile north of the junction with Bleck Road (dirt road). During drier weather access also is available on the seasonal Owego Hill, Bell, and Cortwright Roads.
