DRYDEN SECTION
Route 79 in Caroline to Route 38
West to East
Distance 6.2 Miles

This section of the Finger Lakes Trail (FLT) starts at the west end of the bridge over West Branch of Owego Creek on NY Route 79 just east of Caroline at the Tompkins-Tioga County line. The Caroline section of the FLT ends here. Parking is available west of the bridge on south side of Route 79. The section ends on the west side of NY Route 38, 3.6 miles south of the traffic light in Dryden, almost opposite Purvis Road. An intermediate access point is on Harford Road 4.2 miles east of its junction with Route 79 at the east edge of Slaterville Springs.
