Start the tour in front of the post office on Main Street in Penn Yan, located at the north end of Keuka Lake's east branch.
Directions are given from the village of Penn Yan, but those who want to bicycle less and swim, fish, or wine-taste more, can cut almost eight miles by driving to Keuka College in Keuka Park and start the tour there. Fast riders, or those spending another day in the area, may enjoy simply riding the seven and a half miles of Skyline Drive along the crest of the bluff.
